Best Podiatrists With Disabled Access In Kent

Kent Podiatrist website

Have you been following our disabled access blog series? (If not, you can read all about it here). Next on my list for all you blue badge holders are Podiatrists.

Now, this is a bit of a weird one. A few years ago I had a severe case of athlete’s foot due to being a keen swimmer and spending a lot of time in the water. I remember when looking, I found it very hard to find a Podiatrist with disabled access. So I thought I’d put together this guide to help those of you who also need disabled access facilities.

Best Podiatrists With Disabled Access In Kent

If you’ve been keeping up with my recent posts in this series, you’ve probably noticed there is a bit of a trend in what I look for regarding disabled access. I’ve had a bit of a think about this particular one and it once again returns to the three main criteria I always look for:

1. Flat access,
2. Wide doors and
3. Disabled parking. Why?

Well, you don’t want to pull up to your Podiatrist with a redraw foot only to then realise that there is nowhere to park close by. And for those blue badge holders that can only walk a short distance, walking a short distance with a dodgy foot is even worse.

Instead, you want a disabled bay right next to the door of the practice. This way you can hobble out of your car and in through the doors.

Step Access Is Also A Big No No!

You also don’t want to get to the door and then see a massive great step up into the practice. You’ve got a bad foot and limited mobility, so they last thing you want is all your weight on your bad foot whilst trying to clamber your way into the practice.

If you’re a wheelchair user you’re probably irritated as hell by the itchy foot you’ve currently got and don’t have the mental strength to even fathom trying to get through the narrow door. You want to be able to easily gain access into the practice room so that you can release your smelly foot and finally get rid of that irritating itch!

So without further ado, please find below my list of the top Podiatrists in Kent who offer disabled access. Please let me know if I missed anyone who you think deserves inclusion and I can update.
