Urban Bait are one of the UK’s largest fishing bait companies with plans to move into European markets very soon. We were responsible for the re-design of their e-commerce website. The design of the website had to balance well with the content needed to tick all the boxes for effective SEO and UX. This was achieved through good use of typography and grid structure to work well on mobile devices also. Online sales increased greatly thanks to the simpler navigation and new fully responsive design.
We re-designed all printed marketing materials for use in retail outlets where their product lines are stocked. We also designed trade show printed collateral, including packaging design for their latest new product, the ‘Strawberry Nutcracker’ boilie.
The product launch of this new line and the hike in online sales were also attributed to the introduction of our bespoke designed HTML promotional mailshots. The array of strategically planned campaigns all had a weekly mailshot designed, constructed, sent and monitored. Stats showed an average open rate of 53% and an average CTR of 26% over a 6-month period.
